Update: Fall ’09 version of The Quadrangle available soon…

Hey Everyone! We are almost finished writing the Fall ’09 version of The Quadrangle. Thanks for waiting. We think you’ll enjoy it. Please read the below release and respond before October 30th to receive the latest edition of The Quadrangle.

We are taking steps to become a bit more green at FMS, and thought it would be best to check with everyone whether you would like a hard copy of The Quadrangle mailed to your home. If you enjoy reading The Quadrangle we would like to continue mailing a copy to you every Fall and Spring. We are happy to print and mail you a hard copy. We ask that everyone who would like to receive a hard copy of The Quadrangle this Fall (and beyond) respond by emailing Debbie Todd (dtodd@fishburne.org). Please email FMS your updated full name, mailing address, and email address along with the relevant statement saying you’d like receive the publication.

Our lists have not been updated for this purpose before. Many of you do not find the opportunity to sit down and read the magazine, so we’d like to save the printing dollars and be good to the environment by preventing another item from getting tossed into the garbage. We know that lots of copies have been produced in the past and have been mailed out to friends of Fishburne that don’t have time to savor its contents properly or who prefer to read content on the Web.

If we do not hear from you, we’ll assume that you DO NOT want The Quadrangle. You can change your mind at any time and we’ll put you back on the mailing list for the next go-around in the Spring ’10 version. Keep in mind that a PDF copy of The Quadrangle will be placed on the Web site and blog for you to download at any time.

You may have received a direct mail piece that has a “whoops” factor to its design. Somehow we managed to omit a line on the return/survey postcard side that properly asked for you to write your name and/or updated address. Fortunately, we’re receiving responses from smart alumni who recognized this blunder and are placing their name down. Thank you. What’s frustrating is that no less than eight pairs of eyes were on that piece at some point. We did manage to include Debbie’s email address, and many of you have already responded via email with updates.

Please remember to put your name down on the postcard if you return send, or let us know by emailing your request to dtodd@fishburne.org. If you’d like for Fishburne to send you regular e-newsletters and communications about the School, please email Debbie with your updated contact information even if you don’t want a Quadrangle.

Thanks for all your help! Make sure to look for updates on The Fishburne Times-Connect regularly. We’ll be posting the majority of our news and updates to the blog. In the past, we’ve sent out copies of The CQ publication and monthly parent updates. That information will now be placed in monthly email newsletters or on the blog. We want everyone to LOVE our blog and look forward to postings. Let’s all save a few trees as well.
