Soccer at New Covenant

Fishburne Varsity Soccer (2-7-0) traveled to Lynchburg yesterday, Tuesday, October 3rd, to play New Covenant on a warm, sunny day and soft pitch. The opponents struck in the 4th, 5th, 19th, 30th, & 37th minutes of the first half. Keeper Derek Prestes saved eleven, while the Caissons took three shots and thirty steals. For the second half, the opponents struck again in the 44th, 49th, & 52nd minutes. Prestes saved another four, while the squad took an additional three shots and eleven steals. Caissons host Blue Ridge at Anderson Field 4:30pm tomorrow, Thursday, October 5th.
