Fishburne varsity boys results:

  • Chip Collins, 37th, 20:15
  • Travis Knapp, 71st, 21:36
  • James Park, 81st, 22:53
  • Nolan Vance, 99th, 26:33
  • Mark Mega, 107th, 29:39

Total Runners Entered: 119

Rhett Schuster finished second in the adult race, in 22:30.  He is my student-assistant coach.

Comments:  This was a good first race for us.  We gained experience and had an intense workout.  The work ethic of the team is sound and with a little luck on the injury and illness fronts, we will make steady improvements over the course of the season.  I am pleased with the mental approach of our runners with the daily grind of training.  We didn’t take all of the runners on the team because some are still working to become race-ready.
