Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball coach Ed Huckaby thinks for a minute, and then it hits him who Chris Wray (6’7”, 175, Shelby, N.C.) reminds him of.

“The Plastic Man, Stacy Augmon,” Huckaby said, referencing the former UNLV star and long-time NBA veteran known for his defense and all-around game.

That’s what Wray will take with him to Mount St. Mary’s. Wray signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday.

“He’s a guy that could play in the Atlantic 10, easy,” Huckaby said.

Wray decided on Mount St. Mary’s because it just felt right.

“It’s just my style of play. It fit me perfect. And in college, you need to go where you’re needed and where it fits you,” Wray said.
