Fishburne PG basketball #2 in nation in new poll

On the heels of a big weekend at the Massanutten Invitational, the Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball team is at #2 in the NextUp Recruits national postgrad basketball Top 10 poll, released on Monday.

Fishburne (23-5) has won eight of its last nine, with wins over third-ranked Hargrave (31-8) and seventh-ranked Massanutten (23-8) in that stretch.

FMS also defeated last week’s #10 team, Fork Union, last week. Fork Union dropped out of the rankings this week.

Brewster Academy (28-2) held onto the top spot in the poll this week.
