Fishburne Military School Raiders Win Harrisonburg Meet

On Saturday, the Fishburne Military School Raiders team went on the road to Harrisonburg, VA for the Blue Streak Invitational Raider meet. The Caissons competed against 6 other high school JROTC units and against 10 teams overall.

Events included a PT competition, a Vehicle Pull, Tug of War, Rope Bridge, First Aid, Litter Carry, 5k Road March and a Commander’s Event.

The Caissons took first-place overall by winning 3 events outright and finishing within seconds of first place in the remaining events.

“Over all, this was a great day for our Raiders,” said Raiders Coach MSG William Morton, “but we’re always striving to improve, so we’ll have to work on a clean sweep for next time.”

The 2012-2013 Fishburne Military School Raiders are: Cadets Green, C; Jung; Norris; Park; Lee; McCoo; Wright; Ross; and McIntyre.
