Fishburne Military School Names Leadership for 2016-2017
Waynesboro, VA – Yesterday in Lawton Chapel the Fishburne Military School Cadet Leadership for the 2016-2017 Academic Year was officially announced. Cadet Leaders were pinned with their new rank and sworn in as Officers and NCOs of the Fishburne Military School Corps of Cadets.
Cadet Luciano Dolfi (Stuarts Draft, VA) was pinned by FMS Superintendent CAPT Mark Black to become the 2016-2017 Battalion Commander.
Cadet Thomas Fosdick (Staunton, VA) was named as Battalion Executive Officer; Cadet Jacob Randall (Stafford, VA) was selected as Alpha Company Commander; Cadet Tyler Long (Beavercreek, OH) was named Bravo Company Commander; Cadet Alex Ralston (Nellysford, VA) was named Charlie Company Commander; Cadet Zachary Smithley (Wilmington, NC) was named Band Company Commander.
The Cadets will officially take charge on August 31st at 3pm when the First Formation ceremony convenes the Corps of Cadets for the 2016-2017 Acedemic Session.

Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of all military schools for boys in Virginia. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. FMS is designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies. Fishburne hosts one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command.
