Fishburne Military School Named to Top Schools list

Fishburne Military School is named to Top Schools 2016 by Virginia Living magazineFor the fourth consecutive year, Fishburne Military School has been named to Virginia Living magazine’s list of Top Schools and Colleges in Virginia.

Of the 966 high schools and 77 colleges in the state of Virginia, only 150 programs were selected for this list. “We are all incredibly proud and blessed to be part of a school as special as Fishburne Military School,” notes Fishburne Military School’s Superintendent, retired Navy Captain Mark E. Black.

Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of all military schools for boys in Virginia. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. FMS is designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies.

Fishburne hosts one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command. For more information visit www.fishburne.org.
