Fishburne Military School Hosting 9th Annual Caisson Classic
Virginia’s Top Military Schools to Compete in Waynesboro

Waynesboro, VA — This weekend, the top military schools in Virginia will clash on the hardwood at Fishburne Military School during the 10th Annual Caisson Classic military schools basketball tournament.

Dubbed the Caisson Classic in 2007, this tournament brings together teams from Fishburne Military School, Fork Union Military Academy, Randolph-Macon Military Academy, and Massanutten Military Academy for a competitive weekend of varsity basketball. The tournament was organized as a celebration of the tradition of military schools in Virginia.

1800*- Massanutten vs. Fishburne

Saturday Dec. 10
1600- Consolation Game
1800*- Championship Game

*- at least 20 minute warm-up after first game

Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of all military schools for boys in Virginia. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. FMS is designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies.
