Fishburne Military School’s Color Guard was honored with an invitation to present the colors at the grand opening of NewDay USA’s new headquarters. NewDay USA, in addition to being the nation’s top mortgage lender for the Veteran’s Association, also sponsors a Fishburne Scholarship awarded to the sons of American Heroes wounded or killed in action.

NewDay USA, led by CEO Rob Posner, FMS ’87, one of the nation’s leading approved VA lenders, officially opened the doors to its new headquarters in Fulton, Maryland, on October 15, 2013, with a celebration, tour and VIP reception beginning at 5 p.m. Within the next year, the new headquarter operation will house over 600 NewDay employees.

NewDay’s recent growth is attributable in part to its dedication assisting Veterans and their families to

achieve their financial and housing goals. “Service is at the core of everything we do,” stated Rob Posner, CEO of NewDay USA. “Placing our Veterans and their families first can be seen in what we do, providing VA guaranteed loans, and how we do it, offering the best service to those who served.”

The new headquarters also includes NewDay USA’s nonprofit arm, the NewDay USA Foundation. The Foundation will be supporting Veterans and their families through financial literacy programs, scholarships, Veteran housing initiatives, and employee engagement programs.

“The men and women who have served our nation deserve the best from the financial institutions in which they have placed their trust,” said Rear Admiral Tom Lynch (USN, Ret.). “We believe in leading by example, and in that regard we are proud to share this important day – truly a new day for us — with our colleagues, their families, and our special guests – many of whom are Veterans themselves.”cgnewday8
