First Formation – As Seen by The News Virginian
Tuesday was First Formation for the 121 cadets who began a new year at Fishburne Military School, but for fifth-years Jordan Wittis and Rogan Richer, it marks the beginning of the end.

Over 120 Cadets will start the 2009-2010 School Year at Fishburne Military School. The corps contains 62 returning cadets “old men” and 59 cadets that are new to FMS. First Formation, beginning at 9:00am on Tuesday, August 25th, will mark a new beginning and the start of the Fall Semester.

On October 12, 2009, I and other cyclists plan to do “Michael’s Ride II”, a one hundred (100) mile cycling event purposed to raise money for the Tuition Assistance Fund atFishburne Military School in Michael’s name. It will begin in Waynesboro, Virginia and end in Richmond, Virginia.

At FMS we love learning about the accomplishments of our graduates in the years that follow each cadet’s experience in Waynesboro.
