Military School Facelift

Edenton NC Social a Smash

On Saturday, March 23, Lin (FMS ’56) and Amelia Bond opened their home in Edenton, NC, to nearly 30 guests for a Saturday afternoon Fishburne BBQ. Attendees were treated to fried chicken and good ole NC BBQ with all the sides and desserts – all of which Amelia prepared herself in their beautiful, country farmhouse which has been in the Bond family since 1862. After enjoying lunch, fellowship and some good laughs, the alumni had an opportunity to get an update on all the happenings at their alma mater from new Superintendent, COL Gary Morrison.

Winter Parents’ Weekend a Success

Fishburne families gathered on campus Saturday (16 Feb) to visit with their cadets, engage in parent/teacher conferences and to celebrate the achievements of the 1st semester. This winter version of Parents’ Weekend was developed several years ago as a measure of alleviating the “Dark Ages” blues.
