Fishburne Military School Raiders Find New Ways to Win
Fishburne Military School’s (VA) JROTC Raiders team is working toward earning a third-straight invitation to 4th Brigade’s “Best of the Best” competition. Last Saturday was another strong performance from the FMS raiders. Although many of the A team members were absent from the meet for a variety of reasons, the Raiders once again showed that they have the depth to compete.

Fishburne Military School’s Parents Military Weekend (PMW) celebrates cadet achievements and brings parents from all around the country come to Fishburne. PMW is always a fun time for everyone involved and showcases the work that the Corps of Cadets has put into Drill and Ceremony, Academics, and Athletics.

Fishburne Military School Announces Monthly Awards
During yesterday afternoon’s accountability formation, the Cadet Leadership announced the results of the year’s first Honor Board. Cadet James L. Monroe ’17 (Lake Arrowhead, California), son of Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Monroe, was named Cadet of the Month. Cadet John H. Weatherman ’15 (Staunton, Virginia), son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weatherman, earned the honor of Officer of the Month….

Chesapeake Teen Named Highest Ranking Cadet at Fishburne Military School
On Thursday, August 20th, 2014, Cadet William C. Rowell of Chesapeake, Virginia was named as the Battalion Commander (BC) of Fishburne Military School for the 2014-2015 school year. Rowell, who will officially assume his duties during the military school’s First Formation on Tuesday (August 26, 2014), is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Currey.
