Fishburne PGs roll, 107-48

The scores were Dream Team-like – 37-5, 53-9, 66-16. And that was before halftime. The big test is to come on Friday night when the nation’s #1 team, Massanutten Military Academy, comes a-callin’. Tuesday night was a tuneup for MMA as Fishburne Military School’s postgrad basketball team rolled to a 107-48 win over Virginia Western Community College.

Caissons roll over BC JVs, 86-57

Behind 18 points from Walter Foster, 17 points from Zak Kirkbride, and 15 points each from Kuran Iverson and Daniel Dixon, the Fishburne Caisson PG basketball team raced to a 50-20 halftime advantage en route to a 86-57 win over the Bridgewater College JV team Sunday afternoon.

Caissons Wrestlers Move to 5-0 at RMA

The Wrestling team traveled to Front Royal this evening to take on RMA in rematch and then take on Rappahonnock County High School (public school). The night opened with FMS facing RMA in a rematch from our gym last week. Not a big difference but a little better then last time as the Caissons Roll to a 54 – 22 Win on the road to move to 4 – 0.

Caissons Edge Out Hargrave on the Road

Fishburne’s varsity basketball team made the long trek to Chatham, Virginia, to face Hargrave Military Academy’s characteristically strong squad last night. Once again down a couple strong players due to illness, it looked to be a tough road game, which is exactly what it proved to be.

#6 FMS loses OT heartbreaker, 112-110

Fredrick. Edmond. That is all. The 6’4″ shooting guard was an unstoppable force in the second half and an immovable object in overtime to lead Kingdom Prep to a 112-110 upset of sixth-ranked Fishburne Military School Tuesday night.

Fishburne Swimmers Face Triple Threat at North Cross

Wednesday marked Fishburne Military School’s second meet of the season and there were 4 teams competing (North Cross, Virginia Episcopal School, Liberty Christian Academy and us) so it was actually three meets in one. Our guys did a fantastic job, making friends on deck, impressing other coaches and swimming their hearts out. Our team is the best it has been in years, but our competition has also been getting better. We beat North Cross (55-38), but were beaten by LCA (43-51) and VES (45-49).

FMS Wrestlers Keep on Winning with Shut Out of MMA

Last night the Caissons Wrestling Team faced Randolph Macon Academy, Grace Christian School, and closed out their home opener with Massanutten Military Academy. All three opposing teams came with out the team depth that the Caissons boast and so had an uphill battle right from the get go. And it was a battle they would not win.

Caissons Wrestlers Win In Style at Tiger Classic

The Caissons won the Team Championship at the Tiger Classic in Chatham, VA. They stepped on the mat unproven and stepped off well with a lot to be proud of. “We knew we could be tough,” said wrestling coach, SFC/E7 Richard Chiarolanzio, “we knew we would compete, and we set goals for this tournament and we met every one of them. It was just a great day and a great way to start of a long season.”
