Fishburne Military School Announces Summer Session Program and Dates
The FMS Summer Session will be held June 24 – July 29 and boasts an expanded curriculum. In addition to the school’s regular slate of academic classes during the summer, Fishburne has added Enrichment Courses in Coding, Physical Education, Art, Driver’s Education, Outdoor Adventure and SAT Prep and Study Skills .

The Fishburne Military School (Wayneboro, VA) Raiders Team traveled to Frederick Douglass High School (Baltimore, MD) on Saturday to compete in a qualifier for JROTC 4th Brigade’s annual “Best of the Best” competition. The Fishburne Military School Raiders flexed some considerable muscle, separating themselves from the field and earning a 1st-place overall finish.

38 Cadet leaders from Fishburne Military School (Waynesboro, VA) spent the day at our partner school, Rockfish River Elementary School (Afton, VA) conducting the National Junior Achievement High School Heroes program. The Cadets broke into teams to teach 9 classes, consisting of 200 students in grades 3 – 5, for the entire school day.

Three times each school year the Fishburne Military School Caissons come together in Lawton Chapel to celebrate the successes of their athletic teams and to recognize individual efforts and achievements. As part of Fishburne Military School’s continuing focus upon Leadership Education, three FMS senior ranking cadets were selected to attend the 7th annual VMI Leadership and Ethics Conference last week on the VMI Post in Lexington, VA. Cadets Luciano Dolfi (Stuarts Draft, VA), Joshua Beard (Aguila, AZ) and Phillip Griffin (Winchester, VA) were selected by FMS JROTC to represent Fishburne Military School at the conference.
