Soccer Opens Season at Home
The Caissons Soccer Team opened their season yesterday with a game against Hargrave. The Caissons showed early promise and scored two impressive goals in the first half. Although the they would eventually fall to their opponents the Caissons kept their heads up and played with pride.

Waynesboro, VA — The Fishburne Military School Caissons went to work on Saturday in a three-way scrimmage with Virginia Episcopal School and St. Anne’s Belfield. Yesterday in Lawton Chapel the Fishburne Military School Cadet Leadership for the 2016-2017 Academic Year was officially announced. Cadet Leaders were pinned with their new rank and sworn in as Officers and NCOs of the Fishburne Military School Corps of Cadets. Cadet Luciano Dolfi (Stuarts Draft, VA) was pinned by FMS Superintendent CAPT Mark Black to become the 2016-2017 Battalion Commander.

Waynesboro, VA – Fishburne Military School has officially selected retired Navy Captain Mark E. Black as the school’s 12th Superintendent. Black, a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and 30-year veteran of the United States Navy has most recently served as Commanding Officer and Professor of Naval Science at the University of Virginia’s Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Unit.
