Four FMS Cadets Earn Academy Nominations
This January, Fishburne Military School (VA) Headmaster and Senior Army Instructor officially announced that four seniors from the FMS have earned nominations to attend United States Service Academies. Cadet Colby Gorog to attend the United States Military Academy as well as to attend United States Naval Academy; Cadet Reid D’Amico to attend the United States Military Academy; Cadet Diego Dura Ballester to attend the United States Naval Academy; and Cadet Daniel May to attend the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

An Andrew Eudy jumper with 38 seconds left broke a 68-68 tie, and Fishburne couldn’t get the equalizer in the final minute as the Caissons fell to Fork Union, 74-68, at Alumni Memorial Gym in Waynesboro, Va., Wednesday night.

On Saturday, Fishburne Military School’s Daniel May ’15 (Stafford, VA) fought his way to the top in the Ed Cassell Classic wrestling tournament held at Virginia High School in Bristol, VA. May took home top honors in the tournament, earning the title “Most Outstanding Wrestler” for the event and sparking praise that would follow him all the way back to Waynesboro.
