Cadet Hunter Jennings ’15 (Riva, Maryland), was named Cadet of the Month. Cadet Blake J. Justen ’15, (Mentor, Ohio), earned Officer of the Month. Cadet Staff Sergeant James D. The first show of the 2014-2015 season features an interview with Devenir Duruisseau, a 6’9″, 240-pound forward from Los Angeles who has committed to the University of Washington.

Several Caisson runners continued the trend of setting new PR’s for the season: Marsh (-0:45); Kelley (-0:08); Wren-Russ (-0:06); and Kinnard (-1:31). The Caissons return to action on Friday, November 7th at 3:00 pm at the Virginia Independent School State Cross Country Championship at Woodberry Forrest.

Fishburne PG alum Quincy Taylor named team co-captain at Longwood
Seniors Tyler Akers and Quincy Taylor, redshirt junior Lotanna Nwogbo and sophomore Damarion Geter will captain the 2014-15 Longwood men’s basketball team, head coach Jayson Gee announced Thursday.

At their home course at Coyner Springs Park in Waynesboro, the mighty Caissons of Fishburne Military School (VA) rolled to a first place finish. Fishburne scored 29 points, beating conference foes Eastern Mennonite (49 points), Blue Ridge School (51), and Virginia Episcopal School (DNS).

Fishburne Military School’s (VA) JROTC Raiders team is working toward earning a third-straight invitation to 4th Brigade’s “Best of the Best” competition. Last Saturday was another strong performance from the FMS raiders. Although many of the A team members were absent from the meet for a variety of reasons, the Raiders once again showed that they have the depth to compete.
