1SG Hensley Reports on the Color Guard
Our Fishburne Color Guard took on the task of learning all commands to include uncasing and casing the colors with only a two day notice! They earned first place among ten other schools from West Virginia. Commander Colin Green took on the memorizing of 43 commands, while the others perfected their movements to include uncasing and casing the colors.
They received many great comments from other cadets and many adults that were attending this drill meet. They all seemed impressed with not only their appearance and conduct, but also the sharpness of their movements. They represented Fishburne extremely well. Again, congratulations to: Cadet Green (Commander) Cadet Lawrence (Right Guard) Cadet Pinner (Virginia Flag) Cadet Clark. (Left Guard). This was Clark’s first drill meet.
