Fishburne Military School Rolls to 3-0

Friday evening, the Fishburne Military School Football Team traveled to Quantico, VA and brought home a convincing 48-20 victory.  The win improves the Caisson’s season record to 3-0. 

The player of the game was Robert Smith who scored three touchdowns.  One of Smith’s scores came on a great individual effort with a intercepted pass that he returned for a touchdown. 

The defense did a great job on the evening with many big stops.  In addition to the superior play by the defense, this unit blocked two punts for scores.

On the night, touchdowns were scored by Raekwon Burnette, Andrew Kirkman, Hunter Couchot, Kevin Galloway, Kian Tate, and Robert Smith.  Newcomer, Kahwan Veney, contributed to the offensive success with many strong runs as well as a two-point conversion. 

Many of the younger players had a chance to play and did very well.  Most noticeable, were Chase Dixon, Jude Roshan, and Damir Faison.

The Caissons are home this Friday against Victory Christian Academy.
