Fishburne Military School JROTC Continues to Lead the Way in 4th Brigade
Harrisonburg, VA — On Saturday, the Fishburne Military School Drill Teams took the short trip north to compete in Harrisonburg High School’s annual “Bluestreak Invitational” Drill Meet. The Caissons took top honors for the event and made the very most of beautiful Shenandoah Valley weather.
The Cadets from Waynesboro dominated the events for the day, bringing home eight medals and the 1st Place Overall trophy.
“We were delighted to have had such a strong performance here today,” noted Fishburne Military School’s Senior Army Instructor, LTC Robert Hunt, USA(Ret). “Harrisonburg always hosts a great event and the competition is always top-notch, so this victory really means a lot to us as a program. Our young men stepped up once again and showed that they are willing and able to compete on any level.”
Particularly noteworthy was the excellent performance by the Drill Team Commander Cadet Lieutenant Connor Green who prepared the team for success.
