Fishburne Cross Country Scores Victory

Led by Woonjo “Iron” Ahn, the Fishburne CC team defeated Blue Ridge and Massanutten Friday afternoon.

Fishburne tallied 31 points, Blue Ridge 43, and Massanutten 54 (low score wins). 

Deborah Todd (FMS, Director of Alumni Affairs and Key Club Advisor) attended the meet and then ferried Logan Amico to a Key Club convention in Front Royal, which helped to secure our win.  Amico is one of our key runners.  Thank you for going above and beyond, Mrs. Todd!

 Ahn had his best career finish in 3rd place to lead the Caissons.  He was in a buoyant mood following the race.   

Kurt Wiegand was 4th, followed by Amico in 7^th, James Wright 8^th, Sim Brand 9^th, Jacob Neufeld 10^th, Oliver Euteneuer 12^th, Xenophon Janulis 13^th, Will Shepherd 15^th, Dan May 16h, Raymond Dua 17^th, and Evan Laquaglia 22^nd.  

35 runners competed in the event.  We have 17 runners on the team and hope to include all of them in future meets.
