Raiders Start Strong at New River Meet

 The Raiders team competed in their first Raider meet of the 2017-2018 school year on Saturday, on the New River in Carroll County, Virginia.The new A-Team started off strong on a 12-mile road march and finished 3rd out of 12 teams. They completed the meet with three 3rd place finishes and came in at 3rd place overall.

The Fishburne Military School Varsity Soccer team traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday to play Covenant School on a clear, comfortable day and ideal pitch. Fishburne Soccer (2-2-0) travels to Roanoke, Virginia on Monday, September 18th to play North Cross at 4:30pm

Caissons Cross Country Continues to Improve

The Fishburne Military School Cross Country team put up another strong performance over the weekend. At the Augusta County XC Invitational. Almost all the Caisson runners improved from last Saturday’s race. Their performance kept alive the Caissons’ streak of beating all other private schools in attendance.

Caissons Soccer Faces Tough VES Squad

The Fishburne Military School Varsity Soccer hosted Virginia Episcopal at Anderson Field on Tuesday. VES struck three goals in the the 7th, 20th, and 31st minutes…The Caissons (2-1-0) travel on Friday, September 15th, to play Covenant in Charlottesville, VA for the postponed match that was affected by thunderstorms a week ago.

Caissons Cross Country Starts Strong

The Fishburne Military School Caisson Cross Country runners got off to a strong start in their first meet of the season during the Eastern Mennonite Invitational. The Fishburne team bested all of the other private schools at the meet (Middleburg, Grace Christian, Stuart Hall, Eastern Mennonite, Homeschool Flames) as well as local 2A high school Stuarts Draft.

Caissons Soccer Posts Another Win

Waynesboro, VA — Fishburne Military School Varsity Soccer won their second match in a row last evening, playing Stuart Hall home at Anderson Field on a cool evening and hard pitch. Forward Hamed Al Hinai (Vienna, VA) scored the first goal in the 21st minute by an assist from team captain Bobby Palermo (Huntingtown, MD).

The Fishburne Military School Varsity Soccer team finally played their first game after the first three of the season were postponed due to thunderstorms. Fishburne hosted Massanutten Academy home at Anderson Field under sunny skies on a very soggy and muddy pitch.

Fishburne Caissons Release Fall Football Schedule

Yount Barracks at Fishburne Military School came roaring back to life this week as the 2017 Caissons Football team returned to campus and began their prep for the Fall campaign.  Their first challenge will come on Thursday, August 24, when Coach Hill and his Caissons travel to Saint Anne’s Belfield (Charlottesville, VA) for a scrimmage game.

Farrar Takes Gold in Commonwealth Games

Fishburne Military School Cadet Matthew Farrar opened the Commonealth Games wrestling tournament with a first period pin this weekend in Lynchburg. Farrar quickly got the takedown using his signature ankle side-sweep and deftly ran a ball-and-chain into a double-bar for the pin.

Caissons Track and Field Wins Five Medals

The Fishburne Military School Caissons Track and Field Team traveled to Blue Ridge School for the Virginia Independent Conference (VIC) Meet on Saturday. The Caissons made a competitive showing, bringing home a gold medal, a silver medal and three bronze. Marsh and Brooks were the top performers of the day, each bringing home three medals.
