Caissons Golf Tops Stuart Hall
Recap from Coach Greene
The Fishburne Military School Golf team played well on a beautiful course on a cold, blustery afternoon last Thursday. The Caissons demonstrated both skill and youth in Thursday’s victory over Stuart Hall.
Reid D’Amico (a Senior from Pittsburgh, PA) led the field with a score of 42. Morgan Lilly (a Freshman from Chesterfield, VA) turned in a respectable 44. Team scores were the Caissons 186 and Stuart Hall 209.
The Golf team is now 2-1 and will face Holy Cross at London Downs (Lynchburg, VA) in their first VIC matchup on April 21.
Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of all boys’ military schools in Virginia. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. Boasting a 100% college-acceptance rate for the past 10 consecutive years, FMS has also been designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academics. Fishburne hosts one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command.
