Cadet nominated for West Point appointment

Oregonia’s William Ulrich has been nominated for admission to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point by Second District Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.  The nomination brings Ulrich one step closer to achieving his dream – attending the alma mater of his father, John Ulrich.

William Ulrich will graduate this spring from Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, Va.  With the rank of Lt. Colonel, he serves as Battalion Commander of the Cadet Corps, the highest leadership position at the school.
